Humayun’s Tomb

This monument which looks like a high standing palace is actually a tomb and is apparently located in a beautiful park. Also it is a key monument to understand the Mughal architecture.

Apparently, this monument influenced the building of the Taj Mahal and was built in 1565. It was the first garden tomb on the indian subcontinent.

Located in the eastern part of Delhi, it is; according to people who went there, a good place to admire during the sunset.
